Hey Patricia, thanks for joining us here at TD Helps. We would be happy to clarify this for you.
When purchasing a Money Order, it is not necessary to provide a payee's name at the time of purchase. If you were given a TD Bank Money Order, you may wish to write your name on the Payee line and you may visit any TD Store to cash it. A valid photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) will be required at that time. Please see http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank Store location nearby you.
Additionally, there may be a fee of $7.00 for each check you'd like to cash if you're not a Customer at this time. Please note, fees are subject to change. For more information on the fee schedule, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
We hope this helps, Patricia. Let us know if you have any further questions.
