Good morning, Carol /Christine, we appreciate you coming to TD Helps with your question. We would be happy to help.
At TD Bank, we offer many different types of Checking accounts. Some accounts do require a daily minimum balance to avoid a monthly maintenance fees. From your question, it sounds like you have decided to switch your current account type to our TD Convenience Checking. Please see here for more details regarding this specific account: http://bit.ly/1rYoISa, we also invite you to take a look here for more details on the types of Checking accounts we have to offer: http://bit.ly/1s4rW4W. Please note, the monthly maintenance fee is assessed anytime your account balance falls below your daily minimum balance during your statement period. The fee will show on up on the last day of your statement cycle.
