Back in December I made an online purchase of event tickets with my TD debit card. I have since been issued a new TD debit card, but now the event that I purchased tickets to has been cancelled and they are issuing refunds on the card used to purchase the tickets. Will the refund still find its way to my account or will I need to contact the ticket vendor and straighten this out with them?

Welcome to TD Helps, Amanda. We'll be glad to provide you with some information today.
Based on the message we received from you, you have previously made a purchase using your TD Visa Debit Card and later returned your purchase. If so, your refund should be returned to the debit card you used on the original purchase, even if you closed this card later on.
Credits for merchant returns typically takes 3-5 business days to be credited back onto your TD Bank Debit Card. In your case, it may take longer because your debit card is closed. If you have yet to see your credit or wish to speak with us, you may connect with one of our Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000. You may also reach out to the merchant directly for more information on their return policy.
Please note; depending on the merchants' return policies, some do require to swipe the physical card in order to process the refund.
Just in case that you're referring to a TD Visa Credit Card, you will need to speak with TD Card Services directly at 888-561-8861 for further assistance. They're also available 24/7.
We hope this helps, Amanda!
