Hi I booked a train ticket with my credit card. I have cancelled the card since I lost it and now hold a new credit card number. I am suppose to receive a refund from the train company on 'the same card used to purchase tickets'. Is the old card linked to the new card? when they refund the money to the old one would it reflect on the new credit card?

Hi Tara! We'd be glad to help.
If a refund is issued to the old credit card account number, it will not automatically be transferred to the new account. That certainly would make it easy for everyone involved. But don't worry, it’s a quick fix! If the train company has issued the refund, give us a call. We can still conduct research on closed credit cards so once we locate the refund, we can easily transfer the credit to your new credit card account. You may reach us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 888-561-8861.
We're also available to assist you in person during lobby hours at any of our Stores. To find one near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
We look forward to hearing from you soon so we can get this credit to you, Tara. We wish you very Happy Holidays!
