i booked a hotel and the site charged me the wrong dates...now the hotel wont give me a refund or change my dates. I need to get that 100 dollars back since I dont have money to be wasting. bad policies all around. it did say no refunds, but the problem is the site entered the wrong dates. please help me figure this out, because i know td bank will help me no matter what. First, we'd like to reassure you that in the event of any trouble with a merchant, we're here to assist you. Before filing a dispute through TD Bank to recover your funds, we ask that you get in touch with the merchant to determine if they'll refund your account. It's necessary to check with the merchant for the possibility of a refund before filing a claim with TD Bank.
Once you attempt to resolve this with them, or as it sounds like you may have already done so, if they are unable or unwilling to provide a refund to you, you can then dispute the item with us. If the charge was made via your TD Visa Debit card, you're welcome to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to do so, or stop in at any TD Bank Store found here http://bit.ly/TDStores for assistance.
When filing a claim, we recommend taking note of who you may have spoken with, the date, and any other information that may be relevant so that we can include it on your claim.
