I recently had a new credit card sent to me, with the same number as the old one. The new card however, never reached me, and probably got lost in the mail. As a result, they had to cancel my old credit card number, and give me a new number. I didn't even think of it until now, but I had around 18,000 points on the old card. When the card number changed, did I lose those points?
