Good afternoon TD Bank Team! I have a very little account with your bank but starting this year, i am planning to invest my money starting with the tax refund that i will be getting next month. I have been reading some information online and i think, Roth IRA is the best for me. How much money will I need to open a Roth IRA Account and how qualified i am? I work in a Steakhouse Restaurant and they don't offer any benefits. I work full time and have an average annual earning. Many thanks and have a great 2015!

Good morning Ron and thanks for sending your question this way. It is never too early to save for retirement and thanks for choosing TD Bank to fulfil your savings goal. A Roth IRA is a more recent form of a retirement savings plan. The principal benefit of a Roth IRA is that all earnings will accumulate tax-free if the withdrawal meets the qualifications of a qualified distribution. We encourage you please click http://bit.ly/1j4SCQq for a list of our Frequently Asked IRA Questions to determine if you are eligible to make the contributions. If you have any additional questions about Roth IRA, we invite you to call our IRA Department at 1-800-231-8193; they're available to answer any questions you may have about IRAs Monday- Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm and Saturday 9:00 am -1:30 pm. When you are ready to set up your Roth IRA, you may visit any TD Store location during lobby hours. Please look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a Store near you.
