I need to make a payment to TD bank account (Branch 1120 Tilton Rd, NJ 08225). We pay from this account from a UK bank account with a routing number of 031201230 but when we try to make a domestic payment from a US bank account to the same account this routing number is not accepted - do we need to use a different routing number for domestic transfers?

Thanks for coming to TD Helps with your question, Ian! We'd be happy to help with wire instructions.
Whether the wire transfer is domestic or international, if it's in US dollars, you'll want to use the following instructions, which includes a special routing number specifically for wire transfers:
Wire to: TD Bank, N.A Wilmington, Delaware
Credit to: Our Customer's Account Number, Our Customer's full name - exactly as we have it listed on their account, Our Customer's full address - exactly as we have it listed on their account
Please note that at this time, we cannot process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and will return them to the sender.
We hope this information has been helpful! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call. We're available 24/7 at 888-751-9000. You may also visit any local TD Bank Store. Click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc to view all of our locations.
