Are routing numbers the same for an entire state or individualized for the particular branch where you opened your account? I am unable to find anything telling me the branch routing number but can find the whole state...just want to be 100% sure so my transaction does not fail.

Good question, Joan and we'll be happy to clarify here on TD Helps.
TD Bank Routing Numbers are based upon the TD location where you originally opened your account. If your account was opened in the State of New Jersey (regardless the TD Store location), your Routing Number should be: 031201360. For a list of our current Routing Numbers please check out: http://bit.ly/1cmRPoF. If you have any additional questions for us, please feel free to reach out to our 24/7 Banking Specialists directly at 888-751-9000.
Additionally, if you have any checks with you, the Routing Number would be the first set of numbers located at the bottom of the check. Please check out this link for more information http://bit.ly/1qH2i2K.
Let us know if you have any other banking questions. Have a fabulous weekend, Joan!
