I rented out a safe deposit box roughly 2 1/2 weeks back with the yearly fee deducted from my savings account. I just found out that I may be moving and need to cancel/close out as I don't know where I will be moving to exactly and the convenience of a TD bank in that neighborhood, besides the availability of a deposit box at that TD location.
I read somewhere that if the security box is closed out within 60 days then you can get a pro-rated refund. Can you please confirm that. I have both keys and have not even accessed the security box at all. Please let me know. Thank you.

We recommend contacting or stopping in the Store where the Safe Deposit Box is held for more information on the steps to follow next. For a listing of our Store locations please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Hope this helps. Have a good one.
