Hello, I would like to start saving for a single family home. I already have a checking and saving account with TD. Is there another type of account that I can open just to transfer money into for buying the home?

Good plan, Walsh. We'd be glad to help!
Though we do not offer an account specifically for the purpose you've mentioned, you are able to open a savings account to transfer funds into.
We recommend taking a look at the savings accounts we offer here: https://go.td.com/2dIcnAw. You are also able to receive a custom recommendation here: https://go.td.com/1hXi2wF.
Once you're ready to open an account, you are able to do so online by selecting "Open Account," by calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or by visiting any TD Store. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Please know regardless of the method you choose, you will need a Social Security Number and a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.).
We also recommend taking a look here: https://go.td.com/1dHULN9 at our Finance 101 page. If offers great tips on how to save!
We hope this helps, Walsh. Have a good day.
