I'm a US Permanent Resident and Canadian citizen, living in Delray Beach who receives pensions from Canada.
How can I open a savings account, with the Canadian pensions automatically deposited into it, but remain as CANADIAN FUNDS, WITHOUT the monies being exchanged for AMERICAN FUNDS?

Thank you for your interest in TD, Andrew. We'd be happy to help.
When making deposits to a TD Bank account, we will be able to accept wires and physical checks to your TD Bank account in Canadian Dollars. Kindly note that these will be converted to U.S. Dollars prior to becoming available for withdrawal. A direct transfer of funds, such as an automatic deposit, would need to be sent in U.S. Dollars directly. We apologize that we would be unable to maintain your funds in Canadian Dollars as we do not offer Canadian Dollar accounts at this time.
With that being said, you may like to take advantage of our Cross Border Banking options. If you establish an account with us here at TD Bank in the U.S., you'll be able to transfer funds from your TD Canada Trust account, free of charge. For more information about this service, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1ienPN4.
To introduce you, we offer many different types of Savings accounts. To view and compare savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1g5vhXQ , or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
As you've mentioned that you are a permanent resident and have a legal address here, you can visit http://bit.ly/1ishIab to begin an account with TD Bank in the United States. Please click on the "Open a U.S. Account" button on the right side. On the page which follows, additional information about the products we offer is available. Use the "Open Account" buttons to select your account and begin the application process.
If you prefer, you can speak with a Representative from our TD Cross Border Banking Support Line 24/7 by calling 877-700-2913, who can also assist you in opening the account by phone. They can also answer any questions you may have about our Cross Border options.
With either method, we request that you provide your name, street address, date of birth, Social Insurance Number or Social Security Number and valid identification to complete the account opening process. Please keep in mind that your Canadian consumer credit profile will be used to verify your identity if your Social Insurance Number is provided.
Knowing that you are interested in opening an account using Canadian Currency, you may also like to check out what TD Canada Trust has to offer. Our friends across the border had a great conversation outlining the steps you'd need to open a Canadian account. Take a look here to see what Stephanie said: http://bit.ly/1w8ARER
Also, our friends in Canada can assist you further if you have any other questions. Check out their page here: http://bit.ly/1kD3iFr.
We hope this helps, Andrew and have a good day.
