My sister & bro-in-law bought a home in Port st Lucie. He will be coming down for the closing and the settling of the home. My sister will not be coming down at this time. They would like to open a checking &/or savings acct w/ TD. Is it possible for the bank to send her or email her a signature card so when her husband comes in to open the acct he'll have it?

We appreciate you coming to TD Helps with your question, Diane.
If your brother-in-law would like to open a joint account with your sister, he is more than welcome to do so. Joint accounts can be opened in person at any TD Bank location. Please keep in mind that all account holders must be present for the account opening process. If he prefers to open the account by himself, he can always visit the nearest TD Bank during lobby hours with his wife to add her as a joint owner at a later time.
We encourage him to review our Checking Accounts here:http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF, or use our Checking Account Selector athttp://bit.ly/1vW1xnU to find an account which suits your borther-in-law and your sister's needs. And our Savings products are listed here: http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT, or use our Savings Selector Tool at http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd.
When he visits, each signer will need their Social Security number and a valid personal identification such as a Driver's License, State ID, or Passport.
If he plans to open the account in his name only right now, he is also welcome to open it online at the links above, or he can give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and a friendly Specialist can help him.
When he is ready to visit a Store, he'll be happy to know that we offer convenient Store hours and locations. Please look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores for a listing in the area he will be visiting.
Hope this helps answer your question and have a wonderful day!
