I sent a secure message and received a reply. After I opened the message, my laptop suddenly shut down before I could read the reply. I had to sign in again once connection returned, but for some reason the reply to the secure message wasn't there anymore for me to read. What happened?

Thanks for making a stop at TD Helps, Elaine. We'd be glad to help.
Although you didn’t read the new email and your laptop turned off while you had the email open, it's possible our system may recognize the email as "read." You may view all of your received messages by clicking on the "Customer Service" tab than "All Messages Received" under "Message Center."
If you still experience difficulties, please connect with us 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
We hope this helps and please let us know if you have any other questions
