Thanks for connecting with us, Rhonda. We will be glad to point you in the right direction today.
There are two different types of transfers you can have made; a Person-to-Person transfer through TD Bank Online Banking or a wire transfer.
To use the Person-to-Person transfer feature, you must be enrolled in Online Banking. If you have not enrolled yourself, you can do so for free here: https://go.td.com/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, your TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, your account number, and your e-mail address. If you do not have a debit or ATM card, please call our 24/7 Banking Specialists at 1-888-751-9000 to enroll. Once you’ve enrolled for Online Banking, select the “Person-to-Person” tab to enroll for this specific feature. With this feature you can also request money from another person. Once you are logged in, under the Person-to-Peron tab please select the "Request Money" option. The person you are requesting funds from will then receive a text or e-mail notification regarding your request and at that point, he/she can choose what financial institution or account he/she would like the funds to be debited from. Please keep in mind that this feature only allows you to make transfers inside the US. For the Terms and Conditions in addition to information on the payment methods and amounts, please check https://go.td.com/1pADlWD.
If you are expecting a domestic wire, you may have funds wire transferred into any transaction account (e.g. Checking, Money Market or Statement Savings); we post all incoming wires from the Federal Reserve until 6:30pm on the current banking day. A confirmation will be sent to you the day the wire transfer is credited to your account. At this time, we may not process incoming Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) wires and will return them to the sender.
For an Incoming Domestic Wire Transfer, it is necessary to provide the following information to any individual or financial institution wiring funds into your TD account:
Wire to: TD Bank Location: Wilmington, Delaware ABA#/Routing#: 031101266 Credit To/Beneficiary: Our Customer's Full Name (exactly as we have it listed on their TD Bank account) Beneficiary Address: The address we have listed on our Customer's TD Bank account Account#: Your full TD Bank account number
Please keep in mind also that some transactions may take longer than others. Keep in mind that there may be fees applied for the receipt of a wire. To take a look at any applicable fees, take a look here: https://go.td.com/1cTejgt.
If you’re expecting an international wire the information needed will depend on whether you are receiving US or foreign currency. However, if the financial institution sending the wire transfer to TD Bank is unable to accept an ABA/Routing number for an international transfer, we apologize for any trouble with this. If they are requiring you to provide a BIC/SWIFT code in order to send a transfer (already in U.S. currency) into your account, then they should use the following information instead:
Wire to (Beneficiary Bank): TD Bank, N.A. BIC/Swift Code: NRTHUS33XXX Bank Address: TD BANK, N.A. 6000 Atrium Way Mount Laurel, NJ 08054, USA
In Favor of: Beneficiary Account Number: Our Customer's full TD Bank account number Beneficiary Full Name: Our Customer's full name as we have it listed on their account Beneficiary Address: The address we have listed on our Customer's TD Bank account
Keep in mind the above instructions is for U.S. Currency only – in the future if the wire is being sent in foreign currency you must instead use the following information:
Wire to: The Toronto-Dominion Bank Swift Code: TDOMCATTTOR Bank Address: The Toronto-Dominion Bank, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5K 1A2
For Further Credit to (Beneficiary Bank): TD Bank, N.A. Swift code: NRTHUS33XXX Beneficiary Bank Address: TD BANK, N.A. 6000 Atrium Way Mount Laurel, NJ 08054, USA
In Favor of: Beneficiary Account Number: Our Customer's full TD Bank account number Beneficiary Full Name: Our Customer's full name as we have it listed on their account Beneficiary Address: Our Customer's address exactly as it appears on their account
Additionally, we strongly recommend connecting with the financial institution sending the wire transfer to determine if they require you to provide an ABA#/Routing#, or a BIC/SWIFT Code to complete the transfer.
Thanks for joining us and have a great day!
