Thanks for your question, Jim. We'd be glad to discuss.
Please know that TD Customers are not able to choose or customize their account numbers at this time for security reasons. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
If you do not currently maintain an account with TD Bank at this time, you are able to open an account by calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000, by visiting any TD Store or visiting our web page.
We recommend taking a look at the accounts we have to offer prior to your account opening. You are able to take a look at checking accounts here: http://go.td.com/1oXjGgF and our Savings accounts here: http://go.td.com/1hzzhPT.
If you need help choosing the best accounts for your needs, we offer a Checking and Savings Selector Tools found here: https://go.td.com/1vW1xnU and here: https://go.td.com/1vW1DvM.
Please know regardless of the method you choose, you will need a Social Security Number and a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.).
We hope this clears things up, Jim. Have a good day.
