Thanks for joining us here at TD Helps, Claudia.
To transfer funds from your TD account to another account, you may wish to initiate an International Wire Transfer. Please note, to initiate a Wire Transfer, you would need to visit a TD Store to do so.
To send an international wire all you need is:
· The full name, address, including City, State/Province, Country and account number of the person/business (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number) you are sending money to
· The full name and address, including city, state/province and country of the Financial Institution receiving the funds
· The amount and currency of the transfer
Keep in mind that depending on the currency you are sending, some transactions may take longer than others. You may want to contact the other financial institution to determine what information they require to receive the wire. Please see the link listed below for all applicable fees that may apply.
Keep in mind that transfer fees may apply, for our fee schedule follow this link: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. We would also recommend checking with the other financial institution to ensure no other additional information is required as well as to obtain information regarding any additional fees for their services. And please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender.
We understand as you're currently in Peru, it may be harder for you to visit us. We'd be glad to provide other possible options for you.
If you have your TD Debit Visa card, you may wish to visit an ATM near you to withdraw the funds then deposit the funds into your account in Peru. Please keep in mind that fees are applicable when using a non-TD ATM and we invite you to check out our Fee Schedule provided above for more details.
Did you know that your TD Debit Visa card can be used to obtain a cash advance at any participating Financial Institution up to certain amount per card per day? Prior to obtaining a cash advance, as it is being requested at another Financial Institution, you may be charged a fee by them therefore we recommend connecting with them directly for additional details. Please also know that the cash advance amount will be immediately deducted from TD Customer’s primary Checking account. Please note, in order to use this service, the funds must be available in your account.
Please ensure you have the physical card present to process the cash advance. Additionally, there are pre-set daily limits when it comes to Cash Advances. For more details, please check out: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ, please see pages 43 and 44.
Also, if you have any checks handy, you may write yourself a check for the amount you wish to deposit.
Lastly, we also suggest connecting with your Financial Institution directly as they may have other options available for you.
If you have any other questions, you may connect with us from outside the US by dialing 856-751-9000 or via landline with an Operator's assistance by dialing 215-569-0518. We are available 24/7 and would be happy to answer any additional questions you may have.
We hope this helps and hope you have a good one, Claudia.
