In reply to patricia, doral
Patricia, thanks for connecting with us. TD Helps is dedicated to helping you with all your banking questions.
We have a couple of options to transfer money domestically.
If you have a TD Bank checking or Savings account and would like to initiate a wire transfer to another bank located in the United States, you will need to visit a TD Bank Store. For hours and locations near you please take a look at: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Once at the Store, you will need to provide the name, address and ABA (routing) number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number.
If you are trying to send money to an account you own at another financial institution, you may use our external transfer feature.
After you login, choose the Transfers tab. This will bring you to the page where you may choose internal transfers between accounts at TD Bank, or the option to Begin the external transfers set up.
You will need to Enroll to use this service. Click on Enroll now.
On the page that appears- please review your contact information and read the Terms and Conditions. Once completed, you may click on the three boxes which:
1. Accepts the Terms and Conditions
2. Confirms that you are able to access the TD Bank Fee Schedule
3. Accepts possible contact with regard to transfers
Once completed, click on Accept and you may continue to schedule a transfer.
Additionally, you may use our online Send Money feature if you have a TD personal checking account and want to send money to a third party. This feature is located under the "Send Money" tab via your Online Banking. If you are not currently enrolled for online banking and wish to enroll for online banking for your personal accounts, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, your Social Security Number and your email address. Once at the page, please select "Personal" from the drop down box. When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
If you do not have the required information to set up for Online Banking or you need assistance enrolling, you may contact us 24/7 at 1-800-493-7562 to speak with a Digital Banking Specialist. Upon proper account verification, we would be happy to help get you started.
We recommend contacting our 24/7 Digital Banking at the telephone number listed above if you should have any questions or issues signing up for Person-To-Person
We hope this information answers all your questions. Please let us know if should you have any further questions. Have a great rest of your day!
