I need to send money from my TD Canada account to a TD customer in the USA. How can I do this. I do have a TD USA account as well. Can I transfer or send money from either of those accounts to the TD customer in the USA?

Thank you for connecting with us on TD Helps here in the United States, Gordon.
If you'd like the transfer to come from your TD Canada Trust account, you're welcome to complete a wire transfer. Complete wire instructions to a TD U.S. account will be listed below:
If the wire will already in U.S. currency, you should provide the following information to the financial institution sending the wire:
Wire to: TD Bank
Location: Wilmington, Delaware
Credit To/Beneficiary: Our Customer's Full Name (exactly as we have it listed on their TD Bank account)
Beneficiary Address: The address we have listed on our Customer's TD Bank account
Account#: Our Customer's full TD Bank account number
Keep in mind the above instructions are for U.S. Currency only, if the wire is being sent in foreign currency you must instead use the following information:
Wire to: The Toronto-Dominion Bank
Swift Code: TDOMCATTTOR
Bank Address: The Toronto-Dominion Bank, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5K 1A2
For Further Credit to (Beneficiary Bank): TD Bank, N.A.
Swift code: NRTHUS33XXX
Beneficiary Bank Address: TD BANK, N.A. 6000 Atrium Way Mount Laurel, NJ 08054, USA
In Favor of:
Beneficiary Account Number: Our Customer's full TD Bank account number
Beneficiary Full Name: Our Customer's full name as we have it listed on their account
Beneficiary Address: Our Customer's address exactly as it appears on their account
Please know that we do not process incoming Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) wires and they will be returned to the sender.
When sending or receiving a wire transfer, fees may apply regardless of the currency sent. For a full list of current fees including wire transfers, please review our most current Personal Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Additionally, if you're looking to initiate the transfer of funds from your TD U.S. account to someone else's account at TD Bank in the U.S., you may be able to send a Person-to-Person payment. In order to be eligible to use the Person-to-Person payment service, you must have a United States address, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security number and a valid unique email address. You must also be enrolled for Online Banking on www.tdbank.com and be using a TD Bank Checking or Money Market account for the transfer. Please also note that Person-to-Person payment will only allow you to transfer funds from your TD Bank account to any other individual's bank account within the United States.
If you have met all the requirements listed above and are also enrolled for Online Banking, you’ll need to be logged in to Online Banking from here http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. In order to initiate a Person-to-Person payment:
- First, you must enroll in the service. To do so, you would select the tab that says Person-to-Person payments at the top of your Online Banking screen.
- Then, you will be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you.
- Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process.
You will have two delivery options when sending a Person-to-Person payment; there is the three business day option and the next business day delivery. Please note, the next day delivery option is not available for savings accounts. To qualify for the next day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful 3-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days.
If you are not currently enrolled for Online Banking and wish to enroll for your Personal Checking account, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, your Social Security number and your email address.
If you do not have the required information to set up for Online Banking or you need assistance enrolling, you may contact us 24/7 at 1-888-751-9000 to speak with a Banking Specialist. Upon proper account verification, we would be happy to help get you started.
We hope this helps, Gordon and please let us know if you have any other questions.
