Hello, We are in the process of setting up an online business mainly aimed at the US market. So far to become LEGAL we have.....
1. Registered a business with the help of an accountant in Maitland, Florida.
2. An EIN with our registered business.
3. A UPS business address in Winter Park, Florida.
In order to deal with US based wholesalers we now need a US based small business account with a Debit Card to pay suppliers. We are NOT looking for credit at this point in time and will pay as we go by having a permanent deposit on this card. When up and running, with a yet to be established website, we will need a credit card facility (Merchant Account?) for customer transactions along side a BPay facility.
We are not US residents and at this point in time are communicating with suppliers online and by phone. Can you help, please? We do not at this stage, plan to visit the USA but can see that will need to be done down the line as the business grows. Sincerely, Mike

In order to open a business account, the account signer(s) can visit any TD Bank Store and be present for the account opening process along with the following documents: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number. For a non-resident aliens opening a business account, you will need two valid forms of ID and a W-8Ben must be completed during the account opening process. Also, be sure to bring the Tax Identification Number for your business.
To open an LLC, additional documents will be needed. One of the listed documents is required for account opening but you can bring more than one if you desire: The documents used to form and register your business, the fictitious name registration or the Operating Agreement. Additionally, you will also need to bring documentation of your LLC Resolution.
