Hi, I recently opened a checking account at TD Bank in the US using the cross-border opening procedure and I provided my Canadian address (main residence). I am now in the process for applying for a US-based American Express credit card in the US and they want me to provide a copy of a bank statement showing a US address.
1-Can I add a US address to my TD Bank checking account as a second or "mailing" address" ?
2-If so, will the US address appear on my TD Bank statement ?
3-Do I need to wait until 30 days after account opening before being able to setup the US address online or by phone, or can cross-border customers from Canada setup the US address sooner ?

Thank you for joining us here at TD Helps, Jeff. You came to the right place for information.
You may add a mailing address different than your physical address to your account. Your statement will list your physical address if a mailing address is added. We do not require a wait period to change your address on file.
If we can assist you again, please feel free to write to us anytime! We hope this helps and enjoy your day.
