We would like to change one of the two signers on the account.
does the old signer need to be present?

To update the authorized signers on a business account, the signer (who will remain on the account) can visit a local TD Bank Store during lobby hours to sign an updated signature card with the new signer together. The signer (who is being replaced) is not required to be present. Please ensure that all signers have proper ID; a Driver's License, Passport, State issued ID, or Military ID will be accepted. If you are referring to a personal joint account, both signers have equal rights and access to that account. This means that neither signer can be removed from the account, if you do not wish to continue to share the account, the account must be closed. Once the account is closed, the individual may open a new personal account to which the other will not have access to. In order to close a joint personal account, only one signer is required to submit this request.

I am a treasurer for a Parent faculty association for one of the local South Jersey Schools. Our Board is changing for next year and signature authority (on the checks) will be transferred to new co-treasurer and new Co-presidents. What form need to be filled? Can it be filled by al involved and submitted to TD bank on a later day? or do we all need to be present and go to a branch to change signature authority (old and new members)
