My previous checking account with TD Bank had fraudulent activity on it so the fraud department service rep said I needed to close the account and open a new account. I opened the new account in June of 2017 so I only have access to online statements that date back to that date for my new account. Is there a way for me to access my previous account statements without having to go into a TD Bank? The closest branch is 25 minutes away from my home location.

Happy Saturday, Kiana, and welcome to TD Helps.
This is a great question!
Here at TD Bank, once an account has been closed, it will unfortunately no longer be available on your online banking; however, please don't worry! In the event that you need statement copies for a closed account, we're here to help, and you're welcome to connect with us in whichever way is the most convenient for you!
We understand that you may not be able to visit a TD Store location, and that's okay, as you're still able to connect with us over the phone, or if you have access to your Personal Online Banking, you may also send us a secure message.
If you'd like to call, Banking Specialists can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be reached by simply dialing 1-888-751-9000. To send a secure message, you will first want to log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'.
If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We generally respond within 24 hours or less.
Regardless of the method you choose, one of our Specialist will be happy to process your request for you, and you should receive your statement copies in the mail within 7-10 business days, depending on your postal service. We'd also like to mention that while statement copies do not have a fee, should you request to receive additional information with your statements, such as check images, a fee may be assessed. To learn more, we invite you to check out our Fee Schedule here: https://go.td.com/2lbbfGg.
Additionally, regardless of the method you choose, we'd also like to recommend having the full account number you would like to request statements for handy, as this information may be needed to process your request.
We hope you found this information helpful, and we look forward to assisting you with your copy request soon, Kiana!
Have an amazing weekend!
