I am writing to find out if it is at all possible to obtain any bank statements from my old account for the year of 2012? I no longer have an account with TD Bank, but wish to inquire for tax purposes.

We appreciate you coming to TD Helps with your question, Jorell.
TD Bank retains seven years of account history in our records and we'd be happy to assist you. If your account was closed within this time frame and you'd like to access your prior statements, don't worry as we have some ways that this can be done.
If your account was closed in the past few months and you have another active account with us, you can request statement copies with one of our Banking Specialists and we can mail them out to you to the address we have on record. Feel free to reach us at 888-751-9000, 24/7 and we'll be happy to help out.
If you no longer have any active accounts with us, you're more than welcome to stop in at any TD Bank Store for assistance. You can find our TD Stores with contact information here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please note, depending on the type of statement copy you are looking for, additional fees may apply. For more information, please refer to your Account Guide and the current Personal Fee Schedule here:http://bit.ly/1cTejgt (located under “copies”).
Let us know if this helps and have a great day!
