We'd be happy to help you in placing a Stop Payment on your starter check.
To do this through your online banking, first log in by clicking here: https://onlinebanking.tdbank.com/. Once logged in, select the 'Customer Service' tab. There you'll find a blue link that says 'Stop Payment'. Fill in all the requested information. To help ensure the effectiveness of a Stop Payment, we require that you provide the check number, dollar amount, and payee. There may be a fee associated with this service. We recommend that you review our fee schedule here: https://go.td.com/2kFZ5mK.
