If I open a student account with my teenage son, can I limit the total transaction he can make to, say, $50 per week, or some other value of my choosing?

Thank you for interest in opening an account with your son, Andrew. We're glad you stopped by TD Helps.
Please contact your local TD Bank Store (review this link: https://go.td.com/1YuxIwb for locations) about account options if your son is under the age of 18.
Debit card limits may be decreased. Please click here: https://go.td.com/1kb17UQ (pg. 46) to view our standard debit card limits. Once you've opened the account you may lower the limits by visiting a TD Bank Store or calling us at 1-888-751-9000.
We also offer Prepaid Cards that may suit your banking needs.
We look forward to hearing from you.
