I am having funds transferred to my US based account from a financial institution in the UK. The funds are in GBP. I gave them the instructions Wire to: The Toronto-Dominion Bank Swift Code: TDOMCATTTOR Bank Address: The Toronto-Dominion Bank, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5K 1A2
For Further Credit to: Beneficiary Bank: TD Bank, N.A. Swift Code: NRTHUS33XXX.
They replied that they can only pay directly into one bank account and cannot toute the money via a second account. How do I respond? Also, do I need to provide the routing number for the Maine branch I was given when I opened the account which is : 2112-74450 or must I use the ABA#: 0311-0126-6. Thank you for your help.

Thanks for your question, Andrea. We'd be glad to help with wire instructions.
As you've mentioned that the funds are being sent in foreign currency, we ask that you provide the following instructions:
Wire to: The Toronto-Dominion Bank
Swift Code: TDOMCATTTOR
Bank Address: The Toronto-Dominion Bank, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5K 1A2
For Further Credit to:
Beneficiary Bank: TD Bank, N.A.
Swift Code: NRTHUS33XXX
Bank Address: TD Bank N.A., 6000 Atrium Way, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054, USA
In Favor of:
Beneficiary Account Number: Your full TD Bank account number
Beneficiary Full Name: Your full name exactly as we have it listed on your account
Beneficiary Address: Your full address exactly as we have it listed on your account
Please know that for this type of wire transfer an ABA routing number should not be needed. If they do require a routing number, please use the following: 031101266.
Keep in mind that the instructions mentioned above are our correct wire instructions. We recommend reaching out to the sender for clarification in regard to what specific information they need.
Wire transfers may have a fee associated with them. For more details please take a look at our Fee Schedule found here: https://go.td.com/2kFZ5mK.
