The UK Bank accepts the TDOMCATTTOR swift number but not the NRTHUS33XXX number. I need a swift code of the US not Canada. No where can I find any other code than the one above and it does not work. I wrote a check into my Philadelphia account with TD and the person on the phone refuses to accept this as activity. I am now trying to do a bank transfer to see if they'll accept that and I cannot get a code that works, except one for Canada.

Welcome to the TD Helps community, Marilyn.
The information you will need to input depends on how the funds are being sent. If you are sending the funds in US currency, a SWIFT is not needed. You will need to provide the European Bank with the following information:
Wire to: TD Bank, N.A Wilmington, Delaware
Credit to: Your TD Account Title, Address and Account Number
However, if they are being sent in foreign currency, you will need to provide the bank with the following including the SWIFT:
Wire To: The Toronto-Dominion Bank - Swift code: TDOMCATTTOR - The Toronto-Dominion Bank, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5K 1A2
For Further Credit to (Beneficiary Bank): TD Bank, N.A. - Swift Code (Bank Identification Code): NRTHUS33XXX -TD BANK, N.A. 6000 Atrium Way Mount Laurel, NJ 08054 USA
In Favor of: Beneficiary Account number and Beneficiary’s full name and Address - Your Account Number - Your Full Name - Your address: (Please include City, State and Country)
Keep in mind that you should expect these funds within three to five business days. We post all incoming wires on the banking day they are received. International wire transfers sent in US dollars can be received until 6:30PM EST and incoming foreign currency wires can be received until 3:30PM EST.
We do not process incoming Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) wires and we return them to the sender. For more info on the fee for wire transfers, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Hope this helps answer your question and take care!

What did I tell you, if I use the Canadian information then it tries to transfer in Canadian dollars and the American banking information does not work.

Thanks for getting back to us, Marilyn.
We apologize if there was any confusion.
Typically, in order to receive an international wire transfer (already in U.S. currency), you should provide the following information to the financial institution sending the wire:
Wire to: TD Bank Location: Wilmington, Delaware ABA#/Routing#: 031101266 Credit To/Beneficiary: Our Customer's Full Name (exactly as we have it listed on their TD Bank account) Beneficiary Address: The address we have listed on our Customer's TD Bank account Account#: Our Customer's full TD Bank account number
If the financial institution sending the wire transfer to TD Bank is unable to accept an ABA/Routing number for an international transfer and are requiring you to provide a BIC/SWIFT code in order to send a transfer (already in U.S. currency) into your account, then they should use the following information instead:
Wire to (Beneficiary Bank): TD Bank, N.A. BIC/Swift Code: NRTHUS33XXX Bank Address: TD BANK, N.A. 6000 Atrium Way Mount Laurel, NJ 08054, USA
In Favor of: Beneficiary Account Number: Our Customer's full TD Bank account number Beneficiary Full Name: Our Customer's full name as we have it listed on their account Beneficiary Address: The address we have listed on our Customer's TD Bank account Keep in mind the above instructions is for U.S. Currency only – in the future if the wire is being sent in foreign currency you must instead use the following information:
Wire to: The Toronto-Dominion Bank Swift Code: TDOMCATTTOR Bank Address: The Toronto-Dominion Bank, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5K 1A2 For Further Credit to (Beneficiary Bank): TD Bank, N.A. Swift code: NRTHUS33XXX Beneficiary Bank Address: TD BANK, N.A. 6000 Atrium Way Mount Laurel, NJ 08054, USA
In Favor of: Beneficiary Account Number: Our Customer's full TD Bank account number Beneficiary Full Name: Our Customer's full name as we have it listed on their account Beneficiary Address: Our Customer's address exactly as it appears on their account Additionally, we strongly recommend connecting with the financial institution sending the wire transfer to determine if they require you to provide an ABA/Routing number, or a BIC/SWIFT Code to complete the transfer.
Please know that we do not process incoming Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) wires and they will be returned to the sender. When sending or receiving a wire transfer, fees may apply regardless of the currency sent. If you have any further questions, please reach out to us 24/7 at 888-751-9000.You may also visit your local TD Bank Store in which locations can be found here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
