Welcome to TD Helps, Sadie. We'd be glad to help!
If you have a check made payable to your son and he is still a minor, you may be able to deposit the check into your personal account. To do this, you would first need to endorse the check as if it was written to you. Then, beneath your signature you would need to write, ‘Parent of Minor.’ The funds would then clear your account as if you made a check deposit for yourself.
We would also recommend reviewing this option with your local TD Bank Store, prior to making the deposit. Please visit us at a Store near you, and find one at http://bit.ly/TDStores, during our lobby hours for Teller assistance.
We hope to see you soon, Sadie and enjoy your day!
