Thank you for reaching out, Brandy. We'd be glad to discuss how TD Debit Card Advance works.
TD Debit Card Advance is a discretionary overdraft service that may allow debit card transactions to process from your account though the funds may not be available at the time.
This service takes a variety of factors into account when approving a transaction including your current balance and account history. If an item is declined, it is most likely due to the limit for your account being reached. We apologize as this limit information is unavailable to our Specialists as this limit is always changing.
We encourage you to take a look here: https://go.td.com/2exVmIX for more details about TD Debit Card Advance including any fees that may be assessed.
If you'd like to ask questions about your account and transactions specifically, please reach out to a Specialist. We're available 24/7 at 888-751-9000, during lobby hours at any TD Store and via secure message.
Take a look at TD Stores and their hours here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
To send a secure message using Online Banking, please sign in here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq and select 'Send a secure message' located in the 'Message Center' on the left hand side of the page. For Mobile Banking, select the option to 'Contact Us' followed by 'Send a secure message' after signing in.
Please know that we would like to assist you with your account directly however TD Helps is considered an unsecured forum. Because of this, we do not have access to accounts/personal information.
We hope this clears things up, Brandy. Enjoy your day!
