I'm trying to fill out a Direct Deposit Authorization form to automatically deposit money into my savings account. However, does a TD GROWTH MONEY MARKET technically count as a checking account or is it a savings account? In other words, should I fill out the account number under "Checking" or "Savings"?

Welcome to TD Helps, Sandy.
We apologize for any confusion regarding the Money Market Accounts and would be happy to clarify this for you.
Though our Money Market accounts are actually Savings Accounts, they can be seen as a Checking Account because you have the ability to write checks off of them. For more information on our Money Market Account, please take a look here: http://go.td.com/1pJT9I9.
If you'd like to switch your account over, you may call us at 1-888-751-9000, available 24/7, or feel free to visit us during lobby hours for further assistance. You can locate a TD Store near you by clicking here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
