Hi, I have a TD US debit card. But I'm in Canada now. Does it cost extra money if I withdraw US dollars from the ATM in Canada through the TD US card?

Thank you for joining us here at TD Helps, Lianne. You came to the right place for information.
Great news! We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that while you are in Canada, you may use any TD Canada Trust ATMs at no surcharges or fees. That's right – TD Bank Customers have access to thousands of free TD Canada Trust ATMs all over Canada! We are happy to confirm that we currently have just over 2,800 Green Machine ATMs across Canada: http://bit.ly/1mqqvXF.
Please know that although you are a TD Bank U.S. Customer, our TD ATMs in Canada do not dispense US Currency, only Canadian currency. Also, please keep in mind that the exchange rate you receive at any TD ATM is not set by the bank. Foreign exchange rates are published by the government and fluctuate daily, and customers will pay the VISA exchange rate at the time of withdrawal.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and we'll be happy to assist you!
