I am Malkeet ,working in merchant vessels (ship) outside canada and I am a visitor to Canada and citizen of India.
If I open a US dollar Account in TD and send remittance from outside of canada into TD US dollar account in canada , Do I need to pay any taxes in Canada .
As per indian income tax regulation if I stay out of country for more than 183 days I am not required to pay any taxes.
Please clarify about TD US dollar account taxes.
