Ive tried several times to use a TD Visa gift card for an online purchase and it keeps getting declined. I checked the balance and it has $$ on it. Never been used. Is it not usable for online purchases?:

We're sorry to hear that you've had some trouble using your gift card, Elise. We'd like to help.
In order to use your TD Bank Visa Gift Card to make online purchases, you will need to register it first. This can be done by phone or online. To register your card online, visit us here: http://bit.ly/2oti0qH. Click the green 'Register My Card' button to start. You'll be asked to enter the card information so that we can locate the card and you will then be prompted to input your personal information to complete registration. You can also register your gift card with us by phone. Just give us a call at 888-294-2249. We have Gift Card Customer Service Representatives available 24/7 to help.
Once the card is registered, you should be able go forward with your online shopping!
