Hi! I had a TDbank gift card and a refund was being processed on it. For some reason, the account closed randomly. The refund was from steam. Why did the account close? The gift card was purchased on December 25th, so its very random to close after 3 days, especially since there was a refund process going on. Can the card please be reopened so the refund can go through?

Good morning, Ali, and thanks for bringing your concerns to TD Helps today.
We'll be more than happy to assist.
Currently, TD Bank's Gift Cards are not re-loadable, and generally speaking, funds cannot be added back to a card. Additionally, typically once the value of a card has been used, the card no longer has any further value, and can then be destroyed.
While we would like to confirm with you directly if this occurred with your gift card, please understand that TD Helps is currently not considered secure. Because of this, so that we may better assist you, we'd like to recommend that you speak with one of our Gift Card Specialists directly.
For your convenience, our Specialists are here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be reached by simply dialing 1-888-294-2249. We apologize that we couldn’t further assist you today, but we look forward to hearing from you soon, Ali.
Take care, and have a safe and happy new year.
