I recently opened an account online, could I walk into a branch and get a temporary card?

Welcome to the TD Family, Vivian. We'd be glad to help.
If you have requested a debit card during the account opening process either via the phone or online, you should expect to receive your debit card in the mail within 7-10 business days.
All TD Bank Stores have instant issue machines where any Customer Service Representative would be happy to make a new card for you during your visit. You will walk out with a new card in your hand! Once at the Store, please ask the Store Representative to close the card which is already mailed to you since it will no longer be useful once you receive a new card. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please know that we do not offer temporary debit cards at this time. If you need a debit card immediately, please visit a TD Store during lobby hours.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
We hope to see you at a TD Store soon, Vivian and have a good day.
