I used to have chase and one of the things i loved was anytime my card was used i got a text i asked branch by my house and they said yes i could if i went online and set up but all i see is email alerts thats not what i want because with email alerts i got to check my mail in that case i would just check my bank online same as email im looking for a no brain way text done

We are always happy to receive feedback in order to provide a comfortable and convenient banking experience for all of our Customers. We'd like to let you know that we've forwarded your comments to the appropriate team here at TD Bank in consideration of future improvements.
Right now, TD Bank offers email alerts for your account that can be set up via Online Banking. One of the alerts you can set up is a balance alert. Although we don't offer specific transaction alerts at this time, you'll be able to select a high- or low-balance amount and when that threshold is met, you'll receive an email from us.
You can view more information on how to set these alerts by logging into your Online Banking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq and clicking the “Alerts” tab. After clicking the "Alerts" tab you will then choose "Set up a new Alert." Online Banking will then ask you to specify what type of alert you are creating and once you do, please select "Continue." You will then be asked to select the account you'd like the alert for, the type of alert and the dollar amount of your alert. By selecting "Finish," your alert will be saved.
Keep in mind that these alerts are sent via email and will only be directed to your cellular device if you have your email attached to your phone.
