We understand your concern, Christine, and we'd be happy to help.
Once a check issued via Bill Pay has been received by the biller, we are unable to cancel the payment however you are able to place a stop payment.
You can request a stop payment while signed in to Online Banking here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq. To place the stop payment, please follow the steps below:
1. Click on the Customer Service tab at the top of the page.
2. Click on Stop Payment found under Self Service.
3. Fill out the Stop Payment form as appropriate.
Keep in mind that there may be a fee associated with a stop payment. To learn more about any fees that may be assessed, please visit here: https://go.td.com/2kFZ5mK.
If you have any trouble or questions about Bill Pay, feel free to call a Tech Support Specialist 24/7 at 800-493-7562.
You can also connect with a Banking Specialist 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or by visiting any TD Store to place a stop payment. To take a look at TD Stores near you and their hours please visit here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope this sets you at ease, Christine. Have a good afternoon.
