Welcome to TD Helps, Mohammed!
If you are looking to open a business account, all authorized signers must visit a TD Bank Store and be present for the account opening process. For example, if only three of them will be physically available to visit the Store they can still open the account, however, the other two members will not have access to the account until they have physically step into a TD Bank Store and are added as signers. To add another signer to the account at a later time, every signer that was present at the time of the opening must also be present when adding another person to the account. You also have the option to obtain multiple debit cards which you can provide to the other two members until they are added as signers; although this will not allow them to view the account or request information, they will still be able to make transactions.
Those who are going to be signers on the account need to bring the following documents: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number. For a non-resident aliens opening a business account, you will need two valid forms of ID and a W-8Ben must be completed during the account opening process. Also, be sure to bring the Tax Identification Number for your business.
If you are looking to open an LLC, additional documents will be needed. One of the listed documents is required for account opening but you can bring more than one if you desire: The documents used to form and register your business, the fictitious name registration or the Operating Agreement. Additionally, you will also need to bring documentation of your LLC Resolution.
