Hi Bruce, thank you for connecting with us. We're sorry it's under these circumstances though and we're very sorry to hear about the recent loss.
In the unfortunate times of one of our Customer’s death, it is important to us here at TD to assist the family and/or the Executor/Administrator with our Customer’s account(s).
Depending on the state and the type of account that was opened, certain documents may be necessary in order to close it. You may find this link helpful: http://bit.ly/1CBMKra. We recommend reaching out to the TD Bank Store you mentioned if it is the Store closest to where your mother resided for more detailed information for that area. Also, please understand that it will be necessary to visit that TD location in order to close the accounts. You can find the Store's full contact information here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact a Banking Specialist as well at 888-751-9000.
We hope this helps Bruce, but if you need anything else, please don't hesitate to contact us again. Take care.
