I understand that my new card, last four digits 3196, will give me $100 as a cash award after spending $500, which I have already done, plus 5% of the amount of purchases during the first six billing periods.
I can see that reward payments are building up, but they are not as high as I expected. For the June 20 billing period, they amount to $197.72 ("Awards Activity"). The purchases on the card up to the end of that period come to $2775.12.
If you apply the 5% rule, you get $138.75, and in addition I should be credited with the $100 mentioned above.
So why do I see $197.72, and not $238.75?
