Hey Susan, it's great having you here at TD Helps.
It sounds like you may have had a Certificate of Deposit (CD) with us. An account is considered abandoned/unclaimed if the Customer has not made a deposit, withdrawal, or transfer from their account or if there has been no Customer Contact within the past 3-5 years (depending on the state) and may be escheated to the State.
To best assist you, we ask that you connect with our Abandoned Property Department at 800-281-0025 for further assistance. Our Specialists are available Monday thru Friday, 8AM-5PM.
Additionally, you're looking for a list for an unclaimed account, please check out: http://1.usa.gov/1qtMcdv for more details.
You're also welcome to visit one of your local TD Stores with the documents regarding your Certificate of Deposit account for additional assistance and other questions you may have.
We hope this helps, Susan. Thanks again for joining us on TD Helps, and enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
