Thanks for reaching out to us on TD Helps, Nina.
We'd like to take this opportunity to let you know that you've reached the TD Bank in the United States. If you made your deposit at a TD Bank Canada Trust location, we invite you to look here http://bit.ly/111VoON as our friend, Sarah answered a question similar to yours. You may also click here: http://bit.ly/1kD3iFr to ask your own question.
If you intended to reach us in the United States, typically when making a deposit with a Teller, the first $100 is made available immediately. Additionally, if your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, check deposits can be held for 7-10 business days for verification purposes. Once your account has been opened for over 30 days, not only will the first $100 be made available at the time of the deposit, the rest of the funds will be credited to your account on the following business day.
We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ, starting on page 38 for more details regarding our Funds Availability Policy.
Hope this helps and have a nice day!
