Hi, I am trying to transfer money to a TD Willington customer business from a Bank of America account.
In bank of america online banking system, I am typing 031101266 but Bank of AMerica says "the routing number you entered did not match any banks within our directory. Please enter a different routing number." What is wrong?

Hello Roland, and thanks so much for joining TD Helps today.
There are two types of transactions you might be conducting that would require a routing number. Both wire transfers as well as ACH transactions require these; however, they use separate routing numbers to complete the transfer. Kindly note that we don't recommend using your account's routing number for a wire transfer or vice versa, as we cannot guarantee that the funds will arrive as you expect.
If you're sending funds to a TD Bank account via ACH, which is the same as a direct deposit or direct transfer, this will require the routing number that is associated with your account, as well as your account number. Routing numbers are assigned based on the State of account opening, and you can check out our list by State here: http://bit.ly/1cmRPoF to be sure you have the correct one. If you are searching for the routing number for a checking account you have with us, you can also find that number on the bottom left side of your check. Look here: http://bit.ly/1qH2i2K for an example. Or, you can call us and we'll provide it to you based on your account – reach us anytime at 888-751-9000.
On the other hand, if you're truly sending a wire transfer to an account here at TD Bank from Bank of America (rather than an ACH), we only use one routing number for this. As we referenced above, please use these instructions:
Wire to: TD Bank, N.A.
Location: Wilmington, Delaware
Credit To/Beneficiary: Full name exactly as we have it listed on Customer's TD Bank account
Beneficiary Address: The address we have listed on TD Customer's account
Account#: full TD Bank Customer's account number
If you still experience any trouble, you can give us a call 24/7 at the number listed above. We're also available in-Store for you and see here: http://bit.ly/TDStores for our current listing. You might also like to check in with Bank of America to determine which type of transfer you're making and to clarify any other details you need.
We hope this clears it up for you, Roland.
All the best and have a great week!
Justin B, Mount Laurel
