We appreciate your visit today, Carolyn. We'll be happy to provide options on transferring funds.
We would like to inform you that there are limits on the amount of money you can send or receive through our Services. Your limits may be adjusted from time-to-time at our sole discretion. You may log in to the Online Banking to view your individual transaction limits by clicking on the information icon to the right of the amount box within either the External Transfer or Send Money Service, as applicable.
To transfer funds from your TD account to another account, you may use our External Transfer feature via your TD Online Banking. Once you've logged in, to send an external transfer, please select the 'Transfer' tab and click on the 'Transfer to Accounts Outside TD Bank.' You will need to input the account information you have located with another institution by clicking on the 'Add a New Account' link.
However, if you are looking to transfer funds from your TD account in a family or friend's account at another financial institution, you may use Send Money feature, also via your TD Online Banking. This feature is located under the 'Send Money' tab via your Online Banking. To add contacts to your list, please click on the 'Contacts' link located beneath the 'Send Money' word.
For more details on these services, please check out https://go.td.com/2nUP86H (specifically Pg. 3, Section 1.16 for information on the payment methods and Amounts) for our TD External Transfer and Person to Person Payments Services Terms and Conditions.
If you are not currently enrolled for Online Banking and wish to enroll for your personal accounts, you may use our self-service option by visiting: https://go.td.com/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, your Social Security Number and your email address. Once at the page, please select 'Personal' from the drop down box. When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
If you do not have the required information to set up for Online Banking or you have questions regarding online transfers, you may contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to speak with a Banking Specialist. Upon proper account verification, we would be happy to help. You may also visit a TD Store in your area for help. For Store hours and locations near you please visit: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
If External Transfer or Send Money is not an option for you, or you have a TD Business Checking account, you may wish to visit your local TD Bank store to initiate a domestic outgoing wire transfer. Once at the Store, you will need to provide the name, address and routing number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number.
Please note that there may be fees for the use of the above services. We invite you to take a look at our Fee Schedule here: https://go.td.com/2kFZ5mK.
We hope this information is helpful, Carolyn.
