Thanks for joining us today, Rolph. You'll be happy to know that there are a few ways that someone else can transfer funds to your account!
If you're enrolled for Online Banking, you can use our Person-to-Person transfer service. Even if the person who is initiating the transfer is a non-TD Bank customer, you may still request the funds from this person through this feature. If you have not enrolled for Online Banking yet, you may do so at anytime here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need to provide your Social Security number, your TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card number, account number, and your email address. If you have trouble enrolling, you can call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or by visiting a TD Store during lobby hours. Our Representatives will be happy to help you enroll. You will have immediate access to your account(s) after the sign-up process.
You may also log in by clicking here http://bit.ly/1eaISlq if you're already enrolled. To request funds, please first click on the Person-to-Person tab then select the "Request Money" option. The person who you are requesting the funds from will then receive a text message or email notification regarding your request. This person can then choose what financial institution or account to debit the funds from. For the Terms and Conditions in addition to information on the payment methods and amounts, please check http://bit.ly/1pADlWD.
Another option is for this person to send you a wire transfer, in which case you will need to provide them with the following information, depending on whether the transfer is domestic or international.
For funds being sent in US Dollars you will need:
Wire to: TD Bank, N.A. Wilmington, Delaware
Your full name as it appears on your account statement
Your account number
If the funds are being sent in Foreign Currency, you will also need to include the additional information as follows:
Correspondent Bank SWIFT Code: TDOMCATTTOR
Correspondent Bank: The Toronto Dominion Bank, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5k 1A2
Beneficiary Bank SWIFT Code: NRTHUS33XXX
Beneficiary Bank address: including TD Bank, Store Address: Street, City, State, and Country (If unsure, you may use: TD Bank, N.A. 6000 Atrium Way, Mt Laurel, NJ 08054).
In Favor of: Beneficiary Account Number
In Favor of: Beneficiary's Full Name and Full Address as it appears on your TD Bank account statement
You should expect to receive the payment within three to five business days. We will post all incoming wires the banking day they are received. International wire transfers sent by US Dollars can be received until 6:30pm or if the incoming wire is in Foreign Currency it can be received until 3:30pm on the current banking day. We do not process incoming Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) wires and we return them to the sender. Please keep in mind that fees may apply, for more information on the fees please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Another option if the person making the transfer is able to, he/she can visit a TD Bank Store and request to make a cash deposit into your account. All they will need to provide is your full name and account number, the funds will then be available immediately. Check out http://bit.ly/TDStores to find Store hours and locations. Finally, the person making the transfer may also contact their financial institution since they may offer other options to make transfers.
We hope this helps, Rolph and have a good day.
