Thanks for writing into us on TD Helps, Traci.
We provide a couple of options for someone to send funds to your account. One of the ways you can have funds transferred to you is by using Person-to-Person transfers via Online Banking. You actually have the ability to request funds from other people by using the service. To start, you must first be logged into your online account. Next, you would then select the "Person-to-Person Payments" tab and then select "Request Money." You would then fill out the required fields and select "Next." A confirmation screen will appear. Be sure to confirm the information is correct. Once you do, select "Send Request." The sender will then receive a text or an email with your request for funds. After the person sending you funds completes your request, the funds will take 2-3 business days to reach your account. Please note, that there may be fees for the use of this service. We invite you to take a look at our Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If you are not enrolled for online banking yet, please click here to start the enrollment process: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. This link will take you directly to the “Online Banking Sign Up” page and choose "Personal" from the drop down box. Once you’re at the “Online Banking Sign Up” page, please complete the application. You will need your Social Security number, account number, ATM/Debit card number, and your e-mail address. If you have any trouble with the enrollment, please contact our Digital Banking Specialists 24/7 at 800-493-7562. If you prefer, you may also visit your local TD Bank Store for assistance.
Another option you have in regards to transferring funds is a wire transfer. As long as the funds being transferred is in US dollars, you would have to provide the sender with the routing number 0311-0123-6, your complete name as it appears on your account and your full account number. The funds should be wired to: TD Bank, N.A. Wilmington, Delaware.
For Foreign Currency transfers being sent to TD Bank, you'll need to provide the instructions as follows: Correspondent Bank SWIFT Code: TDOMCATTTOR. Correspondent Bank: The Toronto Dominion Bank, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5k 1A2. Beneficiary Bank SWIFT Code: NRTHUS33XXX. Beneficiary Bank: TD Bank, N.A. 6000 Atrium Way, Mt Laurel, NJ 08054.
Please note that TD Bank posts all incoming wires from the Federal Reserve until 6:30pm on the current banking day. Keep in mind also that depending on the currency you are receiving, some transactions may take longer than others. At this time, we may not process incoming Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) wires and will return them to the sender.
We hope you find this helpful and take care!
