I want to transfer money from Chase bank to my friend's account in your bank, but I only know her name and account number, is that possible for me to transfer money?

Thank you for reaching out to us here at TD Helps, Yidian! We would be happy to help.
In order for your friend to receive transfer, it has to be determined which way the transfer will be processed. The first option would be to send a wire transfer. The most common items required for a wire transfer include an ABA routing number and the full account number. The ABA number used for a domestic wire transfer is 0311-0126-6. Additionally, as the sender, your friend would need to provide you with their full name and full account number. Also, the funds should be sent if domestically, wired to: TD Bank N.A. Wilmington, Delaware.
You can also inform your friend that we also offer Person-to-Person payments and with this feature, they can initiate a request to receive funds. In order to be eligible for using Person-to-Person payment service, your friend must have a TD Bank personal Checking account, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security Number and a valid unique e-Mail address and also, they must be enrolled for Online Banking.
Once your friend is logged in for Online Banking, and enrolled for Person-to-Person payments, they can follow these steps below to add you as a contact to process the transfer:
-Get to the Add New Contact screen from the Overview tab. Click [Contacts] in the upper right corner of the screen.
-Click Add a Contact within the To field. A New Contact window will open.
-Enter First Name and Last Name in the fields provided.
-Select to enter an Email, Mobile Phone, or Direct Deposit using the radio buttons. Enter the information in the fields provided. Then click Save.
After adding the contact, please follow the steps below to Schedule a Payment Request:
-Navigate to the Request Money tab.
-Start typing a contact name to select the contact from the list or add the contact.
-Enter the Amount, either a "Fixed" amount or an Open amount.
-Select the Account to Deposit To.
-Check [Add a due date] to add a due date for the funds.
-Enter email details in the Email Message field.
-Select [Add a note to this transaction] to add a note to this transaction that is not seen by the recipient.
Please inform your friend that there may be fees to your friend's account for the use of this service. Here's a look at our Fee Schedule: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Additionally, we recommend speaking directly with Chase for any additional details in what your bank requires, including any fees you might be charged by Chase.
Let us know if you have any other questions. It was great having you join us on TD Helps!
