does TD Bank have a minimum transaction fee or would I be limited to the amount of transfers between TD accounts?

We'd like to share with you that transferring online between your own TD Bank accounts is always a free service; however, please be aware that Savings and Money Market accounts are regulated by the governmental Regulation D, a restriction which limits the amount of pre-authorized debits per statement cycle. This regulation does not restrict any deposits made into a savings account, only debits or transfers out of the account. The limitations on Money Market and Savings accounts include up to 6 pre-authorized debits/transfers (overdraft protection, transfer to checking account, transfer to any other account) per statement period. At this time, there is no limit on the amount you wish to transfer.
If you are looking to transfer funds from your TD Bank personal account to family or friend's account within TD Bank, you may use the 'Person-to-Person Payments' feature. In order to be eligible to use the Person-to-Person payment service, you must have a United States address, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security number and a valid unique email address. You must also be enrolled for Online Banking and be using a TD Bank Checking or Money Market account for the transfer. Please also note that Person-to-Person payment will only allow you to transfer funds from your TD Bank Account to any other individual's bank account within the United States.
If you have met all the requirements listed above and are also enrolled for online banking, you’ll need to be logged in to Online Banking from here http://bit.ly/1eaISlq in order to initiate a Person-to-Person payment:
- First, you must enroll in the service. To do so, you would select the tab that says Person-to-Person payments at the top of your Online Banking screen.
- Then, you will be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you.
- Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process.
You will have two delivery options when sending a Person-to-Person payment; there is the three business day option and the next business day delivery. Please note; the next day delivery option is not available for savings accounts. To qualify for the next day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful 3-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days.
If you are not currently enrolled for Online Banking and wish to enroll for Online Banking for your Personal Checking account, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, your Social Security Number and your email address. Once at the page, please select "Personal" from the drop down box. When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
