I've been in the US for a few months on an internship and would now like to transfer my money to a canadian bank account. If I do not have a TD canada account, what is the best way to do this?

Thanks for your question, Ed. We'd be glad to help.
Whenever you send funds from country to country it is considered an international wire. If you bank with TD in the U.S., you will need to visit a TD Bank Store to send a wire. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
To send an international wire all you need is:
· The full name, address, including city, state/province, country and account number of the person/business (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number) you are sending money to
· The full name and address, including city, state/province and country of the financial institution receiving the funds
We also recommend reaching out to the other financial institution to determine if any additional information is required.
Keep in mind that there may be fees associated with the sending of a wire transfer. To learn more please visit http://go.td.com/1cTejgt.
Please know that if you do not have an account with TD Bank, we recommend reaching out to your financial institution directly for assistance in sending a wire outside of the U.S.
We hope this helps, Ed. Have a good day.
